You probably stumbled upon this as a blogger looking for inspiration or just to see if I’m totally nuts (I am) because I blog every day. I don’t always blog every day but it’s something I’ve been trying to do on my Summer break from school. It may not be practical to blog every day but there are two things you really must do every day to perfect your craft.
- Read every day.
- Write every day.
Now, I do have Kindle Unlimited but mostly what I read during the day is blog posts from Pinterest and those that come to my email box every day. I’m constantly giving my blogging strategy a boost by learning from others. I do research on stuff every day also, usually at night before bed.
I write every day to some extent and you should also. It will make you a better writer. You don’t always have to write a full blog post and sometimes its best to just free write and get things out that are weighing you down. You can get ahead with your blog posts if you feel inspired. As you write every day the words will come to you more easily. You won’t run out of things to write about anymore. Being a blogger gets a whole lot easier if you write every day. You need to stay accountable and treat your blog as a business. That means showing up every day regardless of work, school, or kids. Making an effort will help you grow.
If you are interested in starting a blog of your own, I created a tutorial that will help you, How to Start a Blog. If you are asking yourself “Can you seriously make money blogging?” My main tip is to be self-hosted. This is essential if you want to monetize your blog. It also makes you look more professional to companies you will partner with. Blogging income won’t happen unless you are self-hosted. You can pick from these links: Bluehost, or HostGator.
