You may be interested in starting a blog about a subject you’d like to research and learn about. You might be wondering if this is okay, as you aren’t ‘an expert on the subject. It may be challenging, but it is possible. Anyone can start a blog about anything if they are ready to do the work.
You may be able to draw on previous experience as well, to place you as more of an expert than you realize. Have you overcome something or are highly educated in another area? You might still have a way to bring something to the table with what you already know.
Share that you are still learning. You don’t want to embarrass yourself or mislead your audience. Chronicle your journey and they can learn along with you. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you are honest. People will be able to relate to you, so be approachable and truthful.
Draw from your existing knowledge in business or whatever your previous or current industry is. You might end up being a problem solver on your topic because of skills you already have. This will enhance what you learn as well.
Research and learn constantly, with any free time. Become a master in your chosen topic. Then, share what you learn in an original way. Your readers will thank you.
Be unique. Find a different way to be the best. No one else is quite like you, so emphasize that. People will want to work with you because of what you bring to the table, not just your expertise in any given subject. Earn the trust of your readers by being yourself.
