Are you a freelancer or entrepreneur? You might seem to be working all the time but not really getting anything done. You could look back on your day and not really realize what you accomplished. I know I have personally had that issue. Here are some things you can do to get stuff done in your online business.
Leave your phone in another room or shut off notifications.
Don’t look at your phone. You will likely check out social media and maybe text messages and email. If you want to get things done you really have to put the phone down and away. It will help.
Set a timer.
Not only will this help make sure you focus, but it can also be a challenge to see how much you get done before it goes off. Most business owners have a competitive side. It may sound corny but it works. If you don’t like a challenge then maybe just give it a try and see if it works for you.
Listen to music that helps you focus.
I like to listen to classical lately to get work done. It is really helpful. I actually have noise sensitivity but the classical music doesn’t bother me and helps me tune out whatever is going on around me.
Focus on one thing and batch.
If you have blog posts to write, for example, make that your schedule for the day and get a month's worth done in one day! Then you don’t have to worry about it until next month. This could be done with a lot of items on a to-do list.
Enlist some help.
You may want to outsource some work on Upwork or some other freelancing site and have someone else do it. It can be hard to let go of control but you can always edit the work if necessary. Give it a try with a small task and see how it goes.
With these tips, you can get more stuff done in your online business. There is only so much time in a day and it's important to get things accomplished. If you try something new, you may do just that.

If you are interested in starting a blog of your own, I created a tutorial that will help you, How to Start a Blog. If you are asking yourself “Can you seriously make money blogging?” My main tip is to be self-hosted. This is essential if you want to monetize your blog. It also makes you look more professional to companies you will partner with. Blogging income won’t happen unless you are self-hosted. You can pick from these links: Bluehost, or HostGator.
