You might have a full-time gig already going and just need some extra income. You may have a chronic illness and need a creative way to support yourself. Maybe you just want to try something new. There is a lot of discussions out there of how to make money online. I consider myself an entrepreneur and I have tried several ways of making money online, and have done a ton of research on the subject.
E-commerce business such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Craigslist, or your own website. Do you have a knack for crafts you can make and sell? Or perhaps you know a lot about vintage items, and can turn them around for a profit. You can also sell things locally on sites like Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. The market can be a bit saturated but there is still room to make money this way if you are truly skilled or have a keen eye.
Affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is when you promote other peoples products on your own website. One common affiliate is Amazon. The nice thing about this is that Amazon is an online giant and really does the selling itself, you just have to get your reader to click the link to their website. Some people make a huge return on their blogs by doing this.
Freelance writing. Freelance writing is my personal favorite way to make money online. When you are just starting out, you’ll want to check out bidding sites like Guru.com and Upwork.com to land gigs. As you build your portfolio you can try other job boards and even cold emailing companies to get a higher rate. There is a lot of information on how to get started freelance writing without any kind of experience or degree.
There are a ton of ways to make money online, but e-commerce, affiliate marketing, and freelance writing are three of the best ways to do so. I would encourage you to do your own research and get off on the right foot. It can be a lot of hard work to carve out an income for yourself but with determination it is possible.
